QUOTES:

Stephen Hart – National Trustee and past S.F. President of the Recording Academy

“Creative, dedicated, and charismatic… I have faith in her as an artist, producer, and technologist.”

Cristina Parvu – PARVU PR

“As a music publicist I have enjoyed all kinds of shows, but never before have I been to one where I literally could not keep my feet still for the entire set!  On September 2, 2010 I was invited to check out Ducky at New York’s Sullivan Hall and was pulled into a unique, pop-electro world that I will not soon forget.  Simultaneously mixing and singing on stage, Ducky’s energy transformed the room into a scene that matched the title of her latest release – ‘The Dreamland Series.’  Caught in the momentum of sound, the thumping crowd was in a trance-like state and although I have often found myself to be an observer at such scenes, without realization I soon found myself dancing along, free of all inhibitions.  With an industry overflowing with cookie-cutter artists and unoriginal music, Ducky is a refreshing change of pace and I expect to hear a lot about her in the future.”

Rusty Manoff – Alliance Wakeboards

I told you this is the year for unsigned bands, so here’s another great artist to know about. This seventeen-year-old pop-electronica rocker from San Francisco California is the future of this rapidly growing genre. Ducky started writing and mixing her own songs at the young age of only fourteen. It’s crazy to think someone so young can make such fun music to listen to. This should be very inspiring for any of you youngsters looking to make it in the music world. I know an eleven-year-old girl named Marilyn who listens to Ducky’s music for writing inspiration and hopes one day she can rock just like her.
